How we use it

We use information to respond to vehicle requests, verify identity and application details, arrange or evaluate vehicle financing or leasing, prevent fraud, maintain records, comply with law, protect our systems, and communicate about a requested transaction.

When we disclose it

For a requested financing or leasing transaction, we may disclose application information to banks, credit unions, finance companies, prospective assignees, consumer-reporting agencies, and service providers that help us process, secure, store, or deliver the transaction. We may also disclose information when required by law or to prevent fraud and protect legal rights. We do not sell credit-application information for unrelated advertising.

How we protect and retain it

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information, including restricted access and encryption for sensitive application data. We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the transaction, legal obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, and recordkeeping, then dispose of it securely.
